PetitionsPetitions should be presented to us in a certain way as there are rules and procedures governing local government petitions. A template is provided, however, first check if the matter comes under our jurisdiction before presenting the petition to us. Before commencing a petition, consider whether it is the most effective means of dealing with a grievance. In the first instance, we encourage person/s to attempt to resolve a matter by phoning our community focus team on (02) 6022 9300.
