Liberty Swing

Liberty Swing, Wodonga.

Wodonga Council is delighted to have a Liberty Swing, located at Belvoir Park, which can be accessed off Osburn St, Wodonga.

The Liberty Swing is an accessible swing for children and adults who use a wheelchair, and gives them the ability to experience the joy and recreation of using a swing.

With a number of special features, the swing is an enclosed apparatus that enables a wheelchair to swing from its frame. The Liberty Swing is also fitted with a pop-up chair to cater for those with limited mobility.

Access to the Liberty Swing

A key is needed to access The Liberty Swing, for local community members, keys are available at Wodonga Council's customer focus desk at 104 Hovell St, Wodonga. Families will need to register for a key, following registration families will be issued with their own key at no cost within 48 hours;

For visitors, keys are available at the Wodonga Visitor Information Centre at 69 to 73 Hovell St, Wodonga, and from Albury Visitor Informaton Centre at the corner of Smollett and Young streets, Albury.

Visitors can return the key after use to the visitor information centres or the return key box located at the Liberty Swing.
