Data without Borders
The Open Data Hub is a Two Cities One Community project identified in the joint 2C1C Smart Community Strategy (2020).
The vision for the Smart Community Strategy is: A more connected and inclusive cross-border community that is digitally enabled and innovative, with better access to information and choices based on open data.
AlburyCity and Wodonga Council have worked collaboratively on a Two Cities One Community (2C1C) Open Data Hub project. The purpose of this project is to make raw datasets available to our community, providing an intuitive and user-friendly portal where users can seamlessly access data insights through interactive story telling. The data is open because its management, release and characteristics meet the principles of openness outlined in the Open Data Policy.
This open data cross border project is the first of its kind nationally and the hub will assist in the unification of the region through data insights.
