Key dates for the 2024 council elections
- Close of roll: Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 4pm
- Nominations open: Monday, September 9, 2024
- Close of nominations: Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 12pm
- Mailout of Ballot Packs: Monday, October 7 to Thursday, October 10, 2024
- Close of voting:Friday, October 25 at 6pm (postal ballots must be in the mail by this time for your vote to be counted)
- Election day: Saturday, October 26, 2024 (to be declared no later than Friday, November 15, 2024)
