Just metres from the Murray River, the village itself is home to an array of quality artists, fine art galleries, HotHouse Theatre, Albury Wodonga jazz club, a weekly farmers’ market, Burraja Indigenous Cultural and Environmental Discovery Centre, and La Maison Café. Due to its close proximity to the Lincoln Causeway, the event site and Gateway Lakes precinct hosts circuses, concerts and events.

HotHouse Theatre hosts a season of live performances in an intimate setting where you can often meet the actors afterwards. The building is a converted 1928 factory, which originally operated at Gateway Island and backs on to landscaped gardens and natural bush on the banks of the Murray River.

GIGS -  Gateway Island Gallery and Studios - features contemporary works by more than 50 regional artists, including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography, textiles and jewellery. Visit to see the artists at work.

Albury Wodonga Woodcrafters The Cottage Gallery features items crafted from recycled and salvaged timbers. Watch artists at work.

Albury Wodonga Artists Society formed in 1987, the studio is open to the public six days a week and the society also holds workshops.

Creators Art Space an artist-run community-oriented print studio, workshop and exhibition space, featuring regular exhibitions in their gallery.
