If you are in an unsewered area and answered ‘yes' to any of the above and the system capacity is less than 5,000 litres on any day, you will need to lodge an onsite wastewater management system application.
No works can begin unless a permit to install/alter has been issued from council.
For all new installations, alterations or renewal of onsite wastewater management system permits:
- Complete and submit an onsite wastewater management system application with all supporting documentation to councils Environmental Health team;
- Once an application is submitted in full, you will be invoiced for applicable fees.
- Please allow the legislated 42 days for processing your application.
