Starting a new health business

If you would like to operate a registerable health business in Wodonga, you must register with the council’s Environmental Health team

For information regarding setting up a health premise, please refer to our guidelines.

To register your health business, you will need to complete the following:

Check if you need a Planning Permit and/or Building Permit, or contact the council on (02) 6022 9300 or at info@wodonga.vic.gov.au

Submit your application to register a health premises form via email at info@wodonga.vic.gov.au, in person at104 Hovell St, Wodonga, or via post at PO Box 923, Wodonga, VIC 3689.

Once your application is received, an invoice for applicable fees will be emailed, with details on how to pay the invoice.

Once payment is received the application will be forwarded to an Environmental Health Officer to assess the application.

Note: you cannot start trading until an Environmental Health Officer has assessed, inspected and approved your premises registration.

Once your registration has been approved you can commence trade and a certificate of registration will be emailed to your nominated email address.
