The Wodonga CBA East - Feasibility Assessment and Delivery Strategy Report was commissioned and funded by Wodonga City Council.
The views expressed in this report are the author's alone and are not necessarily the views of Wodonga City Council.
The CBA East site, at the time this report was delivered, faced underutilisation due to fragmented land ownership. Consolidating individual lots and securing buy-in from all stakeholders was identified as a potential pathway to revitalise the site.
The study conducted a site and market analysis, including environmental, planning and physical site investigations, alongside extensive stakeholder consultations. The feasibility assessment analysed various development options and their potential economic impact.
The study identified key land-use opportunities, including townhouses, apartments, short-term accommodation, office and medical centres, retail, childcare and sports and recreation facilities.
The viability of each option was assessed based on its alignment with market demand and potential for economic growth.
