Consultation closed on Friday, December 1, 2017.
As one of the fastest growing regional centres in Victoria, Wodonga is facing unprecedented growth – and residents are urged to have their say on how Leneva-Baranduda will be developed as Wodonga’s growth corridor for the next 50 years.
Since the land was identified in the mid 1990s, many technical studies and strategies have been done. Now the culmination of that work – Amendment C121 to the Wodonga Planning Scheme – is now open for public comment for six weeks from Thursday, October 19.
Any person who may be affected by the amendment may make a submission. All submissions must be in writing, including your name and contact address, clearly state the grounds on which the amendment is supported or opposed, and indicate what changes if any) you wish to make. Your name and contact details are needed to council to consider submissions, and to notify you of the opportunity to attend council meetings and any public hearing held to consider submissions.
As the planning authority, the council must make a copy of every submission available at its offices for any person to inspect free of charge for two months after the amendment comes into operation or lapses.
