Wodonga Council is committed to providing high quality community spaces in our city.
By providing these community spaces we improve health and social outcomes for all people in Wodonga to create a healthy, safe, equitable and inclusive community.
Following feedback from Riverside Estate residents at a recent community forum, the council is seeking expressions of interest from residents to maintain several community garden beds in the open space located in Perkins St
The council is proposing to install several large raised garden beds for the community to use. The proposed site is next to the large gum tree located on the Perkins St site.
We are calling for interested members of the estate to take a lead with this project and help with the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the garden beds.
The council is also proposing to add a multisport half-court area with basketball ring, and seating in Stage 14 of the development in the open space between Fydler St and Coutts Lane.
