BINGO Competition Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
The Move in May competition ("Competition") is open to residents of Albury, NSW and Wodonga, VIC, Australia, aged 18 years or over, except employees of Wodonga Council ("Council") and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or drawing of the competition.
Competition Period
The Competition opens on Wednesday, May 1 at 9am and closes on Friday, May 31 at 5pm. Entries received outside of this period will not be considered.
Draw Date and Winner Announcement
A random draw to determine the winners of each Prize will take place on Thursday, June 6, at 10am. Winners will be published on the Move in May webpage wod.city/moveinmay on Thursday, June 6 at 2pm.
Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email using the contact details provided.
If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner conducted by a second draw.
How to Enter
To enter the Competition, Participants must complete each and all of the activities listed on the competition card and cross off each activity to indicate its completion. Completion of each activity is at the honesty of the Participant.
Participants must complete the contact details listed on the competition card.
The competition card can be downloaded from the Move in May webpage wod.cit/moveinmay or obtained as a printed copy from Council offices located at 104 Hovell Street, Wodonga.
Submission of Entries
Entries must be submitted by dropping off a hard copy of the completed competition card to the council offices located at 104 Hovell Street, Wodonga or by emailing a photo of the completed competition card to
recreation@wodonga.vic.gov.au
by the closing date.
Participants may elect to share one or more photos of themselves taking part in Competition activities for possible use on Council social media accounts by tagging @wodongacouncil on their
Facebook
or
Instagram
posts and/or stories.
By tagging @wodongacouncil on social media, participants grant the Council permission to repost, share, and use their photos on Council social media accounts for promotional purposes related to the Move in May Competition.
The Council reserves the right to select and use photos at its discretion, and by tagging @wodongacouncil, participants acknowledge that their photos may be shared publicly.
Prize Pool Details
Prize One:
A Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre six-month health and wellness membership valued at $580.
Prize Two:
A The Real Girls Movement one month membership valued at $160.
Prize Three:
A The Man Walk - Wodonga branded hat valued at $30.
Prizes Four, Five, Six, Seven and Eight:
Warriors – Albury Wodonga Dragon Boat Club - Five double Dragon Passes - Four weeks of dragon boat paddle sessions for two people.
The council reserves the right to add additional Prizes to the Prize Pool throughout the Competition Period. These Terms and conditions will be updated to include any additional prizes when they become available.
Prizes are subject to availability, and the Council reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Privacy
Information provided with your entry will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with any third parties without your consent.
General Conditions
By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The council reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its control.
The council's decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Second Draw
If reasonable efforts are made and we are unable to contact the winner/s of a prize, a second random draw will take place to determine a new winner/s. Where required the second random draw will take place on Thursday, June 28, at 10am.
