Wodonga Council has announced the recipients of its Community Impact Grants and Community Impact Infrastructure Grants from last round.
Community Impact Grants aim to help to make Wodonga a better city and aim to empower community organisations and individuals to grow ideas in an innovative and creative way.
The grant program links to the outcomes and key priorities in the Council Plan. The program provides funding to support projects/events from categories such as building stronger communities, environmental sustainability, community events and arts and culture.
The recipients of the Community Impact Grants include the following.
• The LEAP Centre
• Wodonga Bulldogs Football & Netball Club
• 98.5 The Light, Community Radio
• Wodonga Senior Secondary College
• Life Saving Victoria
• Murray Valley Sanctuary Refugee Group Inc
• Junction Support Services
• Wodonga Urban Landcare Network
• Friends of Lou Lieberman Park
The recipients of the Community Impact Infrastructure Grants include the following.
• Wodonga Athletic Club
• German Austrian Australian Club Wodonga Inc
• Wodonga Diamonds FC
The next round of grants will open on Thursday, July 1. Community organisations, workplaces and individuals auspiced by a community organisation can apply for grants ranging from $500 to $3000.For more information, visit our website.
