Women are encouraged to get involved in This Girl Can, a Victorian government campaign aimed at inspiring women to break free from outdated stereotypes about what they can and can’t do in sport, at the gym, and in their communities.
Join a range of activities during the campaign from November 10 to 17, with fun and free events designed to welcome beginners and anyone curious to try something new.
The Real Girls Movement are offering a Come and Try session on Tuesday, November 12.
This gym offers “girls only” group fitness classes that are designed to be fun, supportive and a little sweaty!
Sign up for a free pass to try a class on the day. Class times are 12.30pm, 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
Bookings are essential and numbers are limited.
Al’s Skate Co will be offering female only skate lessons to boost your skills and have some fun trying something new.
These free workshops are open to all abilities, so come down and try it out.
There will be sessions on Saturday, November 16, 23 and 30 at James Scott Memorial Skate Park at 10am and 11am.
Wodonga Sports & Leisure Centre will host free classes during launch week.
