Working with Wodonga Council: Procurement Fundamentals - Medium to large businesses

4 Mar, 2025

In conjunction with SHOP Consulting, Wodonga Council has developed a comprehensive, interactive workshop program designed to help businesses better understand and navigate the council’s procurement processes, making it easier for local businesses to access council opportunities.

The two-hour workshops will cover essential topics, such as:

  •  Participation in procurement activities;
  •  Pre-registration requirements;
  •  Understanding the evaluation process; and,
  •  When or when not to tender.

In the past three years, the council has awarded approximately $136 million in contracts, with 51 per cent going to local businesses. We aim to increase this percentage and encourage businesses of all sizes and fields to attend these workshops.

The workshops are free to attend. Light refreshments will be available.

Registrations close on Wednesday, April 2, at 5pm.
