The winners of the 2019 RED Carpet Youth Awards reflect the passion, stoicism, and selflessness that is present among Wodonga’s amazing young people.
From 88 nominations (narrowed down to 36 finalists), winners were announced on Friday, August 2, across ten categories:
Savannah West won the Individual Community Service Award (sponsored by Junction Support Services) as well as the Youth Ambassador Award (sponsored by Business Wodonga)
Andrea Bejsta won the Sport and Recreation Volunteer Award (sponsored by Albury Wodonga Aquatics Facilities)
Mica Baker won the Endurance and Resilience Award (sponsored by Indie School)
Molly Corr won the Commitment to Continuous Learning and Development Award (sponsored by Wodonga TAFE)
Carliegh Walsh won the Visual Arts and Media Award (sponsored by Dutch Media)
Jack Redcliffe won the Advocacy and Action Award (sponsored by Rotary Club Wodonga Central)
Abigail Malpass won the Young Carer Award (sponsored by GenesisCare)
Ben Warhurst won the Young Worker Award (sponsored by ATEL Employment Services)
Sophie Rawlings won the Music and Performing Arts Award (sponsored by Projection Dance)
