Get in the mood for music and relaxation when Cube Sessions return to The Cube Wodonga on Friday, February 14.
Soloist Toby Mobbs, Duet Zac and Eliza and seven-piece band Groove Resolution will perform at the pop-up bar style event, which is held in the main auditorium.
Groove Resolution's Brett Spokes said the local band was looking forward to performing at the session.
"We love getting out there and performing for people," he said.
"We are a Postmodern Jukebox band playing modern music in various styles from traditional jazz through to swing to Motown.
"Style and sophistication that really drives home the vintage style of modern music.
"Imagine listening to Africa by Toto in a 1950s style or Britney Spears Oops! I Did it Again in a vintage Marilyn Monroe style."
Cath Wall, Mica Torre and Josh McKellar are all on vocals with Brett Spokes and Adam Simmons on reeds. Shane Gillard plays the trumpet, Thomas Summerfield is on the piano with Gideon Dionusius on bass and Adrain Smith on drums.
Enjoy the relaxed vibe and free nibbles, giant games, funky decor and talented local artists for a great evening of entertainment.
Come and support our emerging and established performers in these fun and accessible events.
Ages 15+ welcome. Licensed event.
Tickets are $5 per session and available through The Cube website.
