Upstream – Festival of Art + Culture will showcase the curious, creative and connected over four days in March 2021.
The festival, in its second year, has been programmed in response to COVID-19 and will be live, streamed and online, featuring music, art, theatre, circus, dance and workshops.
In the lead-up to the festival, sculptures and murals by well-known local and national artists will be installed in key locations across Albury-Wodonga.
People will be able to walk, ride, or drive at their leisure and follow an online public art trail featuring the new and established works across the two cities.
Residents and businesses will be able to show their own creative flair on the Yard Art Trail, with their sculptural creations featuring in an online trail map.
Prizes will be on offer with the public voting on their favourite Yard Art pieces.
The festival will be held from Friday, March 5 to Monday, March 8, 2021.
Albury-Wodonga’s arts and cultural venues will also be hosting exhibitions, performances, workshops and a wearable art fashion show catering to all ages.
Upstream is a celebration of collaboration and connection, art and culture, and local food and beverage, hosted by AlburyCity and Wodonga Council under the Two Cities One Community partnership.
