Is your child always asking to have their face painted at festivals or other events where there are long lines for the service?
Your child can learn the skill at our Kids Summer Pop-Up event at Baranduda Community Centre.
The March 10 event will run from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
From a butterfly to a tiger, you are only limited by your imagination.
This is a skill children can continue to develop - they will have a great time practicing on their friends and family members at home.
The event is aimed at those aged six and over.
Cost is $10. Bookings essential, phone Baranduda Community Centre on (02) 6020 8643.
Here are some easy tips and tricks for parents wanting to paint their child's face at home:
- Use a steady hand and ask your child to sit nice and still with their eyes closed.
- Try using eye make-up around the eyes, there's less chance of irritation.
- Invest in good quality, non-toxic face paint.
- Keep some cotton swabs and water nearby, so you can easily wipe away any mistakes and try again.
- Removal - at the end of the day when you want to remove the face paint, there's an easy way. Use baby wipes or facial wipes to remove the paint in one easy go.
