PROJECT
COMPLETE

The project includes:

  • The installation of perimeter mesh fencing along the Gordon St face of Les Cheesley Oval
  • Installation of a new equipment storage facility for all resident clubs
  • Coaches/timekeepers boxers with players benches

These upgrades will increase the usability of the venue and optimise the use of the recently constructed pavilion. They will support participation outcomes for each club and local and visiting school sporting groups.

The $102,000 project is a joint venture between Wodonga Council, Wodonga Saints Football Club, Wodonga Junior Football Club and Wodonga Cricket Club, in partnership with the Victorian Government.

The projects commenced in November 2022 and are due to be completed by mid-2024.
