The Victorian Government has announced $2.6 million in funding for a gas gate at Logic.
A gas gate has been a priority for the council and Logic for several years and will allow the precinct to tap into the main gas line which runs through Logic and provide high-pressure, consistent gas for industry that require it.
The council has $1 million in the present year’s budget has well as further allocations in the long-term capital plan for the Logic gas gate.
The full project cost is expected to be about $5.5 million and take 12 to 18 months to complete.
Wodonga Council established the Logic precinct in 2002.
In that time there has been almost $25 million in land sales and it has created more than 600 jobs.
