Wodonga Council’s kindergartens have policies and procedures in place to:

  • Ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of children in their care;
  • Provide guidelines to meeting the educational and developmental needs and/or goals of children attending the kindergartens;
  • Provide guidelines about how the organisation conducts its services, actions or business;
  • Provide a set of guiding principles to help with decision-making;
  • Provide a source of information for families to support and guide their engagement with the kindergartens;
  • Provide families with answers to commonly asked question; and,
  • Guide all people at the kindergartens to adhere to the National Education and Care Services Law Act 2010 and National Education and Care Services Regulations 2011.

Wodonga Council strives to ensure the voices of all key stakeholders are reflected in the development of its policies and procedures.
