Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy on the historic grounds or pick up some fresh scones from the Welcome Centre to enjoy for morning or afternoon tea.

Camp residents and staff often planted small vegetable, herb and flower gardens for cooking and decoration.
Continue the tradition and stop by the Hume Club to help us revitalise the garden on-site.
Our friendly staff horticulturalist, Leanne, will be on hand to help and show you how to sow and care for your own garden.
Pick up a seed tray from the Welcome Centre and choose from a variety of fruit, vegetable and herb seeds to plant and take home.
All ages welcome.
Paper quilling workshop
Monday, October 7
10am to 11pm
$7 per person | Supervising adults are free to remain with child/ren

Twist, twirl and coil to make a colourful creation to take home.
Roll into the wonderful world of paper quilling and create an art piece using only strips of coloured paper and glue during this special workshop.
Our friendly host will be on hand to show you how to transform plain paper strips into vivid shapes and patterns.
A popular activity, art and craft was enjoyed by many migrants of the former migrant camp.
Suitable for all ages five and over.

Scavenger Hunt
Pick up your map and discovery sheet from the Welcome Centre and follow the trail to find answers of the past.
Look and Find
Grab an activity sheet from the Welcome Centre and find historic objects hidden around the site.
Colouring station
Unleash your imagination at our colouring station with a kaleidoscope of colour.
Traditional games
Have fun with family playing traditional recreational games located throughout the site including dominos, chess, table tennis, cards, Jenga and many more!
The Suitcase Trail
Collect an explorer’s pack from the Welcome Centre and find the suitcases to discover even more shared stories of Bonegilla’s past.
Low sensory session

General admission fees apply, no bookings required
Scheduled over a non-peak period visitors will be able to experience quieter exhibitions and reduced sensory stimuli during this time.

Please note: While sessions have been booked in traditionally quiet periods, public groups are still welcome.

Depart at 11am from the Welcome Centre.
