After a year like no other, Cinema Pop Up is excited to pop up in Wodonga this coming March, offering four nights of movies under the stars from Thursday 25th March up to and including Sunday 28th March, at Willow Park.
Getting together outdoors is the best and safest way to spend time together, and Cinema Pop Up is proud to present a Covid Safe event in your local community.
The outdoor event has been modified to ensure everyone’s safety with a cashless, card only candy bar, pre-booked online ticketing only, disposable covers on all Toyota Lounge bean beds, capped numbers per square metres, social distancing and sanitizer stations.
Featuring an outdoor movie experience at Willow Park, Cinema Pop Up is about providing locals and visitors the opportunity to experience an outdoor cinema and all the entertainment surrounding the event in their local environment in a safe and fun way.
Tickets for adults are only $5 each, with all kids tickets under 17, free, when you book online.
The Wodonga event will cater for all featuring the following family favourite movies, chosen with help by some of the locals:
• 25 March - The Croods: New Age
• 26 March – Toy Story 4
• 27 March – Turbo
• 28 March – The Breakfast Club
The pop-up roadshow will feature movies, music, a candy bar with popcorn and snacks, and a bar for the adults and encourages family and friends to come along for a picnic prior to the movie screening with gates opening at 7pm and the movie starting at nightfall.
Supported by Toyota, TAC, the EJ Whitten Foundation and the City of Wodonga, Cinema Pop up will run for four nights only with limited tickets.
Bookings are essential and only available online at CinemaPopup.com.au.
Toyota Australia Regional Marketing Manager, Andre Palayan said, “Having the opportunity to support this wonderful community event, especially given the challenges we’ve all faced recently, is such a privilege, and one that Toyota is extremely proud to be involved in.”
Cinema Pop Up is the largest outdoor regional cinema operator in Victoria, with pop ups running throughout regional Victoria. Cinema Pop Up Director Kate Hardwick said, “we’re excited to bring an event of this caliber to regional Victoria.
These are the types of experiences you’d traditionally only be able to access in metro cities, however we understand and value the importance of local communities.
Having these magnificent partners on board together with support from Council means we can offer a great experience people can share in together in a safe way.”
