AFL and Netball facilities

Stage 1 to Baranduda fields will include:

The development of one regional level and one local level AFL sized oval with fencing, irrigation and lights; and,
Development of two outdoor netball courts with lighting and fencing, changerooms and public toilets.

This area will be supplemented with a playground, further car parking and trees planted to provide shade.

The AFL and netball pavilion at Baranduda Fields Sporting Complex is now complete.

Works update
May 2023

Works to the changerooms are progressing well. The frame and roofing to the pavillion has been installed with the cladding to follow.
The works to the netball court have been completed, with the surface now laid, painted and the lights have been installed.

Storm drains, irrigation and spoon drains are now installed with the sand layer and chopped cough grass being fed into the trenches to allow to grow.
All going well, the oval should be covered by Spring. Fencing is completed and light towers will soon be installed around the ground. Video available at youtu.be/DBPN7tgIrKQ

The netball court has been sealed and line marked, waiting for external concrete to be poured.
